101-Year-Old Marathon Runner

Here's something for you to think about next time you give up on your exercising. Born in British India in 1911, Fauja Singh began competing in marathons in the year 2000 at 89 years of age. He started running in 1995 in order to cope with deaths in his family. He retired from marathon running in February—at the age of 101. During his running career he has broken many world records and he is believed to be the world’s oldest marathon runner. Amazing. No more excuses for you!

Disabled Surfers Brave The Waves In Rio

Dozens of disabled people in Rio are conquering the waves. Men and women with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, people missing a limb, the blind, the deaf and even the paralyzed all hit the waves at Leblon. A Rio-based non-governmental organization aims to make beaches accessible to the disabled and encourage them to practice water sports. Truly inspiring photos.

Ride’em Cowboy! Gauchos From All Over Visit Montevideo To Ride In Criolla Week

Throughout Easter Week, "gauchos", the Latin American equivalent of the North American cowboy, from all over Uruguay and neighboring Argentina and Brazil will visit Montevideo to participate in the Criolla Week to win the best rider award. Sweet 16 Breakdown: Part 1

Well, just like that, the opening weekend of the Big Dance is in the books, and it certainly did not disappoint. It was filled with the usual exciting factors such as double-digit first round upsets, powerhouse conference favorites going up against mid-major Cinderella’s, and even a buzzer beater here and there. The opening weekend also graced us with a few surprises as well—spotlighted by a 15 seed finding its way to the Sweet 16, so much so, that it has been nicknamed “Dunk City” thanks to some serious white-boy alley oops.

Now, we look ahead to some potentially very exciting matchups in the Sweet 16. I will breakdown each matchup, as well as give my prediction on who will advance to the Elite 8.

We will begin by looking at Thursday’s games, and I will be back tomorrow to breakdown Friday night’s slate.

Andrew Wiggins, High School Basketball Phenom, Highlight Video

Andrew Wiggins is already hailed as the most promising high school basketball player since Lebron James. He is 6 ' 8 " and plays high above his competition. His highlight tape from his senior season at Huntington Prep in Huntington West Virginia will convince you of just how ridiculously good this kid is. He dances around his opponents and puts up dunk after dunk. He hasn't decided where to play his mandatory 1 year of college ball yet but it wont take him long to amaze any crowd. The Worlds Number four ranked tennis player Agnieszka Radwanska defeated the 28th ranked Kirsten Flipkens in the quarterfinals of the Sony Open in Miami on Tuesday and in doing so gave us one of the best tennis shots of the year. This off the net twisting around the back winner is really all you need to see from this match. Seriously how did she pull this off? She has some amazing reflexes. Radwanska next plays Serena Williams for a spot in the final.
